Wonka Day

The 18th May was Wonka Day at Anson. We were lucky enough to get hold of one of the original Golden Tickets from the 1971 film, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. The day saw teachers and children getting dressed up as a character from a Roald Dahl book, the launch of Film Club Five: Wonka special and lots of activities across the school. This is a glimpse into what went on.

Wonka Day saw lots of children dressing up. Here is Mr Wonka and some of his friends, as well as some shots of the children in the assembly.
The children in Class ES took on the challenge of creating landmarks using some of Willy Wonka's treats, plus a little spaghetti. Can you guess the landmark?
