Following the Parent Meetings we have updated the school website so you can find out all the details around what your child will learn this year.

On the Curriculum Page you will find an overview looking at how we teach at Anson. Much of our learning is underpinned by our Learning Behaviours and you can read what these look like for each year group.

 

There is also a wonderful document giving you 50 ways to Help at Home using the learning behaviours as a guide.

On the same page you will find our year group brochures. These outline the targets for children in Years 1 to 6 for English and Mathematics.

 

The remaining National Curriculum subjects are then outlined in the curriculum map.

These show you what subjects will be taught across the year.

 

For more details about the intent, implementation and impact of those subjects you can click on the curriculum links for the individual subjects. This year, it is particularly useful for RE, PE and Spanish.

 

By publishing the curriculum content, and the ways you can support at home, we really are in the strongest position to work together for your child’s progress.
