The Board of Governors has established a number of committees to which it delegates day-to-day responsibility for the oversight of various aspects of the running of the school:
The Curriculum & Standards Committee meets once termly has the role of overseeing the educational performance of the school.
The Buildings and Staffing Committee meets once termly and has the role of overseeing the financial performance of the school and the upkeep and development of the school premises and assets. This committee also oversees the staff requirements, pay and performance.
These are convened as required – Staff Dismissal Committee, Staff Dismissal Appeals Committee, Pupil Discipline Committee, Nominations Committee, Complaints Panel.
These are once a term, following the main committees as above. There is one extra meeting towards the end of the Summer Term to review the academic year finishing plus set plans and confirm ways of working for the year ahead.
