  • 02.09.25 - Welcome Back

It was so lovely to see so many of our children coming through the doors of Anson this morning after the long summer holiday.

The summer has been very successful at Anson with new windows installed in the school hall, new electrical works across the school and the big challenge of installing a brand new roof.

The roof is almost complete with Amber Construction due to finish ahead of schedule next week.

In the meantime it is business as usual. We have a year of exciting opportunities and experiences for the children and lots of opportunities for you to get involved as parents too. We look forward to connecting with all of you over the next few days.

THE YEAR OF THE YES CHILDREN

Our first assembly of the new year took a look at why it is important to take on new challenges with a positive attitude.

The staff shared some of the activities that they had tried for the first time over the holiday and we learned a lot about finding new hobbies, learning new things and discovering things we don’t like along the way.  The children were all encouraged to embrace the challenges which will be offered to them this year and to share their experiences with us.

    PARENT MEETINGS

We are changing the content of the parent meetings for this academic year.

Starting on Tuesday, 9th September parents are invited to join the class teachers to find out more about the ways they can support learning at home to ensure their child has a successful year at Anson.

However, for those parents with multiple children the meetings can be very repetitive. So, this year we will be releasing a recording of the general information you need to know for the year ahead. This means the parent meetings will be more focused on each year group.

We hope this helps all parents, particularly those unable to attend or who join us throughout the year. Please see the times below:
