    PARENTS’ EVENING: BOOK NOW!

We are delighted to see so many parents making a booking on our new Parents’ Evening portal.
Many parents have reported that the email from Juniper Education has been hiding in their junk or spam mail so please check to see if you have an email from support.jw@junipereducation.org - if not just head to the school website at this address and choose ‘forgot password’.
    https://www.ansonprimaryschool.com/parents-evening-info
Once you have managed to access the site you can select the teacher and the date you would like for your appointment.
If you are still struggling to make a booking please do call the office. We can book a place for you manually. However, the best way to get the appointment now and in the future is to sign up to the system.

    NEW YEAR 5 PODCAST

The children in Year 5 have launched their new podcast, Game Day.
The podcast looks at the wonderful world of games and explores the history, rules and fun that can be had  while playing games. Topics include card games, playground games, car games, video games and even educational games. Search for Anson Game Day on Spotify to listen in.

    WINTER FAYRE

The Winter Fayre is just over a month away and we have lots to do to prepare for the event. Here’s some information for you to know.

Please begin sending in donations of Winter Food, Toys and Gifts we can use on the Tombola.
Prepare for our Winter Bake for Books by planning to bake or buy cakes and biscuits for the 12th December.
Get ready to purchase Grotto tickets from 21st November. These will be kept at £3.50 per child.

There will be lots of ways to get involved on the day. Please note the Fayre will be smaller this year with no pupil stalls available.

    WELLBEING WATCH

Anti-Bullying Week in the UK is a reminder that every classroom, workplace and community thrives when people feel safe, respected and included.
This year’s focus on kindness highlights how small, positive actions can interrupt negativity and create a culture where bullying struggles to survive.
Kindness is not just “being nice” – it is choosing empathy, noticing when someone is struggling and celebrating differences rather than judging them.
A powerful part of that message is understanding neurodiversity. Many children and adults who are autistic, dyslexic or have ADHD, for example, may think, communicate or learn differently. These differences are not weaknesses; they are strengths that bring creativity, honesty, innovation and new perspectives. When we value neurodiversity, we challenge stereotypes and make sure people aren’t excluded simply for being themselves.
Anti-Bullying Week encourages everyone to speak up, listen carefully and act kindly. By doing so, we show that thinking differently is something to be proud of, not something to hide. At Anson we embrace this as part of our vision for all.

    COFFEE MORNING

Join us on Monday to celebrate ADHD and Neurodiversity in a special coffee morning with the Brent SEND Advisory Team. The fun begins at 9am.
