Lord Spittleworth really isn't a very nice character and in this chapter he shows the lengths he is prepared to go to in order to keep his story alive.

Mr Dovetail is asked to make a huge wooden footprint maker in the shape of a monster. It appears as if Lord Spittleworth is going to prove the Ickabog exists and will cheat if he needs to do so.
