Every Monday we sing the birthday song in our assembly. Mrs Diksson leads the singing on the piano with Suha leading the three-cheers at the end of the song.

To kick off the celebration there is special announcement of who is celebrating a birthday during the week. Each of the birthday children come to the front of the assembly and are presented with a birthday sticker. 

As an Anson family we love to celebrate. 

However, as parents please do not send in cakes and sweets to add to this celebration. With serious allergies across the school we try to keep the classrooms a food-free zone. Plus, in line with our Healthy Eating Policies, we keep those sweet treats to a minimum.

Indeed we request that parents do not prepare party bags for their child's birthday to share with classmates. While it sounds lovely it can make other families feel obliged to do the same and this can provide stress and anxiety. 

We will celebrate your child in school every year!
