Week beginning July 13th 2020
We have reached the final week of the academic year! I am very sorry not to be able to say a proper goodbye to all of the children. You have all done so well and shown such incredible drive and resilience. Well done for your commitment to home learning and we look forward to welcoming you all back in September! This week, focus on fun, fun, FUN!

Weekly Focus: Letter
As you are preparing to move into a new class in September, now is a great opportunity to say goodbye to your current teachers and a happy hello to your new teachers! So this week, you have a choice of writing activities:
Option 1: Write a letter to your current teacher to say goodbye. You may want to talk about:
- your favourite memories of Year 1
- achievements that you are proud of
- something you will always remember
Option 2: Write a letter to your new teacher to introduce yourself! You may want to talk about:
- what you are looking forward to
- what you are nervous about
- what you hope to achieve in Year 2
- the things you are good at and the things you find tricky
- who your friends are
Remember, if you post to the blog before the summer holidays, your current and new teachers will be able to see your letters and write a reply!
The daily maths learning is taken from White Rose Maths. There are four lessons for the week. Follow these steps to access the learning
