Literacy Ideas

Phonics:

 

Here are the sounds we have learnt

Literacy:

 

Act out your favourite stories.

Retell your favourite story to someone.

Write your favourite story out. You could even change some of the characters or words to make it your own!

Listen to some stories online (you can find lots on YouTube)

 

Reading:

 

Read some books independently or read them to someone else. Remember to point to each word as you read. If you don't know a word look for parts that you do know, sound it out or use the pictures to help you.

 

Read other books or things around your house, share books with a friend or family member or even read to a pet!
